TMG is seeking a senior consultant to lead a Data Quality Assessment (DQA) training workshop for monitoring and evaluation professionals from USAID/Nigeria and its implementing partners.

The assignment, scheduled to occur in September 2013, will include updating of existing training materials and conduct of a 4.5 day workshop in Abuja, Nigeria. Co-training support will be provided by technical staff from USAID’s Monitoring and Evaluation Management Services (MEMS) project, implemented by TMG.

Data Quality Assessment Training

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

-A post graduate degree in social sciences or related field.

-At least 15 years professional experience in the field of performance monitoring including 5 years in USAID funded project.

-Knowledge of USAID’s DQA policies and procedures and field experience in implementation of Data Quality Assessments.

-Ability to facilitate using adult learning methodologies

-Experience in developing training modules and learning materials

-Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills in English

-Ability to establish and meet concrete timelines for completing assignments

-Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa, and Nigeria in particular, desired.
