CNC Machine Operator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

Set up and operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Properly and safely load castings and raw materials into CNC machinery

Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements

Perform daily & regular cleaning & light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery

Required Qualifications

All the following criteria must be met:

3 years as a CNC operator/ Machinist/Technologist in a manufacturing environment

HND/BSc minimum in engineering or related discipline with Good knowledge of Machining & experience with CNC machines

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally & in writing

Ability to adhere to company quality management system, policies & safety standards

Mathematical Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (application of fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to work on 12-hourly shift basis, rotating from day shift to night shift.
